Recharge Plan Hike: Last month, in early July, private telecom companies had increased the prices of their tariff plans. After the increase in the prices of recharge plans, users are moving towards BSNL. In such a situation, the government has also told its complete plan regarding the future of the telecom company. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently said many things during the testing of BSNL 5G.
Ever since the recharge plans of Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea have become expensive, users are porting their SIMs rapidly and BSNL is getting a big benefit from this. The government also said that BSNL has registered a big increase in the recent times. The company has added more than 20 lakh people in the last one month.
By when will 4G reach most parts of the country?
The government says that first the 4G network will be strengthened, only then it will be converted into 5G. According to Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, changes are being made in BSNL’s network under PM Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat. BSNL’s indigenous network 4G will be made available across the country in the next few months. If Jyotiraditya Scindia is to be believed, 4G network will reach most parts of the country in the next 6 months.
Trial will be started in these cities
BSNL 5G trial will be started in cities like Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. As soon as the trial is completed, people will start getting fast internet. The government has allocated 700MHz, 2200MHz, 3300MHz and 26GHz spectrum bands. Currently, BSNL is trialling 5G service on 700MHz spectrum band.
